- A Settlement with a $14,000,000 cash fund has been reached in a class action lawsuit claiming that, on behalf of American Income Life Insurance Company (“Defendant”), telemarketing calls were made to telephone numbers registered on the National Do Not Call Registry in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, 47 U.S.C. § 227. Defendant denies the allegations in the lawsuit and the Court has not decided who is right.
